From economics to sustainability and empowerment, the organizer has enhanced its event programs with personalities from various sectors, adding experts and historic case studies
São Paulo, September 2024 – Internal research by RX, one of the world’s largest corporate event organizers, indicates that visitors who attend the content attractions at trade shows typically leave more satisfied overall. Based on this, the company has been investing in specialists from various fields who enjoy significant public recognition and engagement.
For instance, the trade shows scheduled for the second half of the year feature names like former soccer player Zico, actor, filmmaker, and writer Miguel Falabella, businesswoman Luiza Trajano, and economist Ricardo Amorim.
Below are some of the key speakers featured in RX’s trade shows over the coming months.
International Attraction at ISC Brasil
From September 3 to 5, the Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo hosted ISC Brasil, the premier corporate event for the Integrated Security and Electronic Security sector in Brazil.
One of this edition’s innovations was the ISC Brasil Conference, a space that featured lectures by renowned experts discussing security in various economic sectors.
Notable speakers included Christopher Davis, Microsoft’s CSO, who has held positions at major corporations like Walmart, Amgen, and Nascar and specializes in global security strategies. Another highlight was Ricardo Campagnolli, Business Director and Regional Leader for Incident Management in Latin America at Solventum, who presented the talk “Security, Crisis Management, and Risks from the Perspective of a Senior LATAM Business Leader.”
Celebrities and Top Executives at Equipotel
Continuing RX’s second-half trade show schedule, Expo Center Norte will host Equipotel, the premier hospitality event in Latin America, from September 17 to 20. Miguel Falabella will participate in the “Motel Experience,” a themed space created by ABMotéis with support from Guia de Motéis. On September 18 at 4 p.m., the actor will share insights on the intersection of art and hospitality. The next day, economist Ricardo Amorim will take the stage at 5 p.m. in the same “Motel Experience,” presenting a session on the economic impacts on the hospitality sector.
The event will also feature Cássio Garkalns and Luiza Trajano at the ESG Arena, emphasizing the growing importance of environmental, social, and governance practices within hospitality. Garkalns, a sustainability expert, will share his insights on September 17 at 5:30 p.m., while Luiza Trajano, founder of Magazine Luiza, will contribute her strategic vision at 2:50 p.m. on the same day.
Equipotel attendees can also experience the National Hotel Congress (Conotel 2024), organized by the Brazilian Hotel Industry Association (ABIH Nacional). This year, the congress hosts notable speakers like João Mendes Miranda, founder of Non Stop; Pablo Spyer, host of "Minuto Touro de Ouro"; influencer and columnist Cíntia Chagas; soccer icon Zico; Tourism Minister Celso Sabino; Senator Daniella Ribeiro; and Federal Deputies Felipe Carreras and Renata Abreu.
International Symposium at Expolux
Sharing the Expo Center Norte venue with Equipotel from September 17 to 20 is Expolux, the leading event for the lighting industry in Latin America. The 2024 edition will spotlight the Decor Light Show and SIMPOLED.
The inaugural Decor Light Show is a space designed to present trends and innovations through immersive experiences and technical and professional development, with technical curation by ABRASI, AsBai, GBC Brasil, and LUME Arquitetura. The program includes exclusive presentations by the show’s official influencers. On opening day, Ugo Nitzsche will discuss smart lighting and its applications in residential lighting projects. On September 18, Flávio Gomes will explore his “Chatluz” and how algorithms define lighting styles, while Patrícia Fernandes will address the impact of light on environments and individuals. On September 19, Luciana Guerra will present on applying new technologies in residential lighting, followed by Rodrigo Horse on September 20, who will share the case “Scenic Lighting of the Videira 7000 Bueno Church in Goiânia.”
A prominent feature of the event will be SIMPOLED, the International Lighting Symposium, organized in partnership with ABILUX. It will include a diverse range of contemporary topics on technology, ESG, market trends, and health, curated by LUME Arquitetura magazine.
Key presentations at the symposium include “Healthy Lighting in Healthcare Environments,” delivered by Neide Senzi, a professional member of IALD (International Lighting Design Association) and IES (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America), as well as a founding member of AsBAI and a member of Brazil’s Green Building Council. Paulo Candura, an expert in large-scale urban and sports lighting projects and co-author of the book Urban Lighting, will also discuss the “New NBR 5101 Norm – Changes and Consequences for Project Design.”
Logistics, Sustainability, and Empowerment at Fenatran
RX’s 2024 trade show calendar concludes with Fenatran, taking place at São Paulo Expo from November 4 to 8. Fenatran is the leading event for the road freight transport and logistics sector in Latin America.
The Fenatran Route will once again gather the sector and its stakeholders, addressing topics such as “Digital Transformation in Transportation and Logistics” and “The Future of Work in Freight Transport,” presented by specialists from associations, automotive manufacturers, logistics operators, and transportation companies.
The Sustainable Transport Forum will showcase presentations, experiences, and case studies highlighting best ESG practices in the logistics and transport sectors. Additionally, the 3rd Women in Transport and Logistics Forum will explore the challenges and opportunities for women in these fields.
