RX Cares is the Brazilian branch of RELX Cares. RELX Cares, in turn, is the global community support program that promotes employee volunteering and charitable donations, creating a positive impact on society. As part of the program, all RX employees are entitled to two full days of paid leave per year to dedicate to the community work of their choice.

In 2023, 32% of RELX employees participated in volunteer activities through RELX Cares—compared to an average of 8% of volunteers across all sectors, according to data from Business for Societal Impact.

Together, we contributed £20.6 million to charities, including cash donations, products, services, and employee time.

But the benefits are mutual. In a 2021 survey, 90% of RELX volunteers said their motivation and pride in the company increased as a result of volunteering, and 75% stated that team spirit had also improved.
