RX fairs advance as showcases of innovations for different markets

From Nanotechnology to Clean Energy, Construction to Security, RX Events Continue Expanding Space for Disruptive Solutions and Related Awards

São Paulo, June 2025 – This year alone, RX events have already brought together over 200,000 professionals in just two events. And as 2025 is not even halfway through, expectations point to the total audience at least quadrupling with events scheduled for the second half of the year. What do all these attendees have in common? The search for tools, systems, processes, and products that allow for greater efficiency, improved performance, and enhanced sustainability—in other words, innovation. To showcase these solutions more prominently, RX has been investing in features like experience zones and conferences, making these events true showcases for various markets.

Take, for instance, the fact that Brazil ranks 50th on the Global Innovation Index for 2024, retaining its leadership position in Latin America and the Caribbean, according to the Federal Government. Thanks to its strategic location, B2B events held here offer alternatives that rival those of major innovation hubs in Europe, North America, or Asia. For Latin American attendees, the convenience of accessing these innovations without traveling long distances is a powerful advantage.

“From nanotechnology to clean energy, construction to security, we aim to connect our visitors with what will revolutionize their industries within months. It’s not always about equipment, electronics, or products. That’s why our approach is comprehensive, combining innovation spaces with exhibition areas, targeted attractions, and lecture programs that link key trends to local and global developments,” explains Claudio Della Nina, RX's General Manager for Latin America.

Showcasing Award-Winning Innovations Across Key Events
Below are some of the award-winning innovations spotlighted at recent editions of Feicon, Expolux, ISC Brasil, Fenasucro & Agrocana, and Febrava. These innovation-focused initiatives extend beyond the mentioned trade fairs, permeating the entire portfolio of RX events held in Brazil, with the potential to influence both businesses and consumers.

Solar Thermal Heating for Baths, Faucets, and Industrial Systems
During the 2025 edition of Feicon, the winners of the "Retail Innovation Seal by GRAU10" were announced, an initiative implemented by the fair in partnership with Grau10 Editora and Anamaco magazine’s curation.

The most recent winners were Termomax's Solar Inox Efficiency and Solar Ultra Supreme collectors. These solar thermal heating products are designed to heat water for baths, faucets, or industrial systems using solar energy, eliminating reliance on electricity. They stand out for their high efficiency and commitment to sustainability, making them ideal for residences, commercial properties, and large facilities such as hotels, hospitals, and industrial plants.

Table Lamp with Adjustable Light Intensity and Wireless Technology
The 18th Expolux also hosted an awards segment. Through the Lumina Seal initiative, organized in partnership with Grau10 Editora, visitors selected the most innovative product and the event's standout exhibit booth via voting.

The winning product/solution was the Madame Lamp by Fox Lustres. Crafted from wood with an organic design, it features adjustable light intensity settings for energy savings and wireless technology to charge mobile phones at its base.

AI Enhancing Access Control and Disaster Prevention
At ISC Brasil’s 17th edition, visitors encountered cutting-edge technologies tailored to the security sector. The New Products + Solutions (NPS) Award shined a spotlight on the latest products and solutions presented by leading brands. These innovations were evaluated by expert jurors across various categories.

One standout in AI-driven access control was the Intel® RealSense™ ID F450/F455, which combines an active depth sensor with machine vision AI to provide privacy-preserving facial authentication. Designed for real-time adaptation, it supports diverse lighting conditions—from bright daylight to nighttime darkness—as well as varying heights, skin tones, and changes like new hairstyles or facial hair.

Within the realm of AI solutions for government applications, the PTZ Camera DS-2DF3C400SCG-D was recognized for integrating multi-dimensional sensors, including video and radar, for precise water-level measurement. This innovation assists in early disaster warning and prevention, benefiting state and municipal governments by helping to avoid catastrophes.

Sustainable Innovation in the Agro Sector
At Fenasucro & Agrocana 2024, products, solutions, and initiatives with reduced environmental impact were presented as part of the Sustainable Innovation Route. This edition brought together companies offering sustainable products, services, or initiatives validated by a technical committee.

Highlights included ACS (High-Efficiency Cyclones): a high-efficiency particulate matter control device that can replace traditional gas washers in the sugar and ethanol industries; BERMO (NH3-Recovery System): a system that harnesses ammonia's thermal energy output from compressors, reducing steam and fuel consumption; CALDEMA (Recycling and Disposal of Class 1 Waste): focusing its industrial equipment processes on ESG pillars; and FASS AGRO, a manufacturer specializing in high-yield liquid and solid fertilizers that reduce operational steps, enhance plant vitality, and optimize nutrient distribution.

AI and Nanotechnology Applied to Cooling Systems
The 2023 Febrava trade fair introduced the ABRAVA SINDRATAR Seal, a joint initiative by ABRAVA (Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Heating) and SINDRATAR SP (Industrial Refrigeration and HVAC Union of São Paulo State) to highlight innovative products with impactful processes for advancing HVACR solutions.

A total of 76 products were recognized and labeled at exhibit booths, alongside being showcased in a designated innovation area.

Key awardees included the NEO Estech Cloud-Based Solution, which applies 24/7 AI monitoring to analyze refrigeration equipment data through SaaS technology. By collecting information from control PLCs and presenting it via interactive dashboards, this technology offers statistical and energy efficiency reports while eliminating the need for IoT sensors.

Additionally, ACQUABIOS' Ultra Ice Purifier integrates graphene-based nanotechnology developed in partnership with UCS Graphene. Its standout features include an ultra-pressure-resistant reservoir, built-in antibacterial treatment, and enhanced cooling capabilities via its innovative cartridge-based compressor system.
