RX events are now part of the São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau

The global organizer's initiative reinforces the importance of trade fairs for the city's economy; the sector generated R$ 9.3 billion in 2023

São Paulo, August 2024 – RX, a leader in business event organization, announces its unprecedented inclusion in the São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau, a non-profit entity that aims to increase business opportunities and the consumer market in the city through tourism. The organization also supports the improvement of services and the overall visitor experience.

According to data from the Brazilian Union of Trade Fairs and Business Events (Ubrafe) in partnership with São Paulo Tourism (SPTuris), trade fairs, conferences, and corporate events generated an economic impact of R$ 9.3 billion in São Paulo in 2023. With this partnership, the company strengthens the recognition of B2B trade fairs as key contributors to the local economy and reinforces São Paulo’s position as one of the top business destinations in the country.

Inclusion in São Paulo’s Official Event Calendar

This milestone follows another significant achievement earlier this year in April: the addition of RX trade fairs to São Paulo’s official event calendar. With this measure, Feicon, the leading event for the construction industry in Latin America, and Fenatran, a benchmark in the road freight transport sector, were officially recognized as strategic operations for the city.

“It’s increasingly evident that hosting events goes beyond their significance for individual sectors. The positive impact extends to various areas, including transportation, gastronomy, hospitality, and retail, all of which benefit from the increased flow of visitors. Our goal is to continue fostering this growth and maximizing these benefits,” explains Claudio Della Nina, General Manager of RX Brazil.
