CEO of RX visits Brazil to highlight trends for the events sector in 2024
The use of artificial intelligence, data growth, and sustainability initiatives are among the key topics
São Paulo, April 2024 - Hugh Jones, CEO of RX, one of the global leaders in events, visited Brazil and shared insights on trends for the Brazilian events industry, drawing on his experience with significant markets across different continents. The executive, aligned with UBRAFE (Brazilian Union of Trade Fairs and Business Events), demonstrated that the events sector generated an economic impact of nearly R$10 billion in 2023, and for 2024, growth of 15% is anticipated.
During his visit, Jones participated in FEICON 2024, the largest construction and architecture event in Latin America and a key exhibition in RX’s portfolio, interacting with exhibitors and attendees. He also took the opportunity to hold strategic meetings with RX Brazil's teams, aligning the main priorities for the year.
Priorities for 2024
According to Jones, one area where RX will continue investing this year is digital tools and the use of data to generate insights that enhance client experiences and create increasingly attractive, informative, and interactive events. Jones believes that exhibitors and visitors should leave events feeling they have gained something truly valuable from their investment of time, with differentiated and innovative experiences. To achieve this, he emphasized the importance of nurturing talented and motivated teams, ready to deliver unique journeys to clients at each fair.
Hugh Jones stated, "2024 and the years ahead present immense opportunities for our industry. Committed to sustainability, ready for technological innovations, and focused on delivering value to visitors and exhibitors, we at RX are prepared to surpass past achievements in the coming years."
